Animal Testing Policy

We provide a range of healthcare products which are safe and effective when used by consumers in accordance with their intended purpose and their instructions for proper use.

These products meet quality standards and other relevant laws and regulations worldwide.

While SSL and its subsidiaries do not undertake any animal testing themselves, compliance with these regulatory requirements occasionally means we do have to commission animal testing to be carried out by third party suppliers.

Our firm policy is to minimise any such testing; to seek out alternative forms of testing; and, furthermore, to support the development of different methods which will eventually replace animal testing altogether.
