SSL International plc (“the Company”)

The Company has received notification, pursuant to sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985, that as at close of business on 21 November 2006, Aviva plc and certain of it’s subsidiaries were interested in a total of 11,336,126 shares of the Company representing 5.96 %
of the issued share capital.
