SSL International plc (“the Company”)

The Company has received notification, pursuant to Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 that as at 12 April 2006, HBOS plc and certain of it’s subsidiaries were interested in 11,738,591 shares of the Company representing 6.18% of the issued share capital.
