SSL International plc ("SSL"), the manufacturer and distributor of consumer healthcare products, has appointed Susan Murray as Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2005.

Susan, aged 47, has spent her professional life in FMCG and retail companies.

Until earlier this year Susan was Chief Executive of Littlewoods Stores Limited. Previously she was Worldwide President & CEO of The Pierre Smirnoff company for Diaego plc. Susan has recently been appointed Non-Executive Director of Enterprise Inns.
