SSL International plc (“SSL”), the manufacturer and distributor of consumer healthcare products, has appointed Anna Catalano as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Anna, aged 45, has more than 20 years experience in global marketing and sales operations with Amoco and BP plc (“BP”) where, until recently she was Group Vice President, Marketing. In this role she led the redefinition of BP from a product to a consumer-driven business under the slogan “Beyond Petroleum”. She is American, living in the US and is married with two children.

Commenting upon the appointment, Ian Martin, Chairman of SSL, said “We are delighted to welcome Anna to the SSL Board. She has a wealth of experience that is relevant to SSL as a brand focused consumer healthcare business.”
