SSL International plc ("SSL"), the manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products, announces that Steven Eastwood (52) has today resigned as an Executive Director.

Steve has been involved with the Scholl brand and subsequently the SSL business since 1983, most recently as Managing Director - Asia Pacific. He served as an Executive Director of Scholl plc between 1995 and 1998 before joining the SSL Board in April 2000.

Ian Martin, SSL's Chairman, said "Steve has made an invaluable contribution to the development of SSL's business in the Asia Pacific region and more widely at Board level. We are sorry to see him leave, and wish him well for the future".
