SSL International plc (“SSL”), the manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products, announces the appointment of Michael Pilkington as an Executive Director with effect from Thursday 12 February 2004.

Mike (aged 42) joined the group in April 2002 and holds the post of Group Product Supply Director, responsible for the group’s in-house manufacturing facilities, and third-party stock procurement and sourcing activities.

Mike has significant experience working for global consumer brand companies. Before joining SSL he was Head of European Distribution and Supply Chain Development and Director of Manufacturing at Kellogg’s, having previously worked at Mars Inc. Mike has a first class Master of Engineering degree with honours. He is married with three children.
