SSL International plc (“SSL”), the manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products, today announces that Eric Anstee, a Non-executive Director, will be leaving the board as a consequence of his appointment as Chief Executive of the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England & Wales. He is due to take up that appointment on 15 September 2003.

Ian Martin, Chairman of SSL, said “The board will be very sorry to see Eric go, but we wish him well in his new role”.

SSL will make a further announcement concerning the timing of Mr Anstee’s departure and the appointment of a new Chairman of the Audit Committee in due course.
