SSL International, the manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products, and IBM today announced the signing of an outsourcing agreement that will enable SSL to strengthen its existing IT infrastructure whilst maintaining the focus on its core business.
As part of the agreement IBM will manage a wide range of computing resources, including the Helpdesk and Technical Support systems, in a deal that includes the transfer to IBM of SSL International's IT assets and employees that support the existing IT infrastructure. IBM will be responsible for the maintenance and upgrading of the infrastructure ensuring SSL’s systems operate efficiently on the most effective and up-to-date hardware.
